What is CBD Vape Oil?

With so many ways to consume CBD products, Vape is emerging as the new-gen trend. CBD vape oil can also be called CBD e-juice or CBD e-liquid; in these, the CBD benefits are accessed by using a vape device or mod. These products are flavored and with one of the benefits of CBD been a carming effect vaping CBD is becoming more popular.

Though the vaping devices may be different in a few aspects, their basic working is the same. They all heat the liquid (CBD oil base) to a set temperature and as a result vapor can be inhaled and exhaled from the device. The CBD oil vape is different from the traditional oil found in tincher products. The CBD vape form contains propylene glycol or vegetable glycerin. This is used to suspend the CBD oil which makes it dilute and easier to vaporize.

With vaping been a relatively new sensation with little research into its long term effects it is important to be aware of the risks and potential side effects of vaping.

Can vape oil get someone high?

Since CBD or cannabidiol compound is obtained from cannabis, there are common misconceptions among the aspiring users that will have psychoactive effects on them.

The truth is, no it doesn’t. Most cannabinoids get their psychoactive effects from THC; there is a range of CBD product that does not include THC. Hence, CBD does not show psychoactive implications.

CBD hemp oil vape is the most commonly used extract when compared to Marijuana extracts. Marijuana consists of approximately 30%+ of THC whereas hemp only has trace amounts at 0.3%.

Some CBD vape products may market CBD isolate as its base, which has no trace of THC. Although the full spectrum products made from hemp might have a hint of THC, it is not enough to leave psychoactive effects. CBD hemp oil vaping is said to create a calm feeling in the users, but will not induce any such high.

CBD products available for sale in the current market are most commonly full-spectrum. These therefore have slight traces of diversified cannabinoids, vitamins and amino acid profiles which are inherited from the hemp plant itself. Such products contain all the necessary ingredients for proper CBD vape use like propylene glycol or vegetable glycerin and a natural flavoring for taste.

Vape oil is generally manufactured in three different concentrations: 300mg, 750mg, and 1500mg but weaker and stronger concentrates can be found.

CBD oil e juice or e liquid is produced in many flavorful comestibles like vanilla, tropical mixed berry, mint, citrus and grape tastes. Most vape products are marketed as been obtained from the organic, non-GMO plants and a gluten-free CBD product range allows for specific diet requirements.

How do you use CBD Vape Oil?

The CBD vape products are a secure and effective option for convenient use, although it is important to know how to vape CBD oil properly. There are numerous vape devices on the market but the base for each and setup is the same:

Battery: Devices come with a rechargeable battery which is used to power the heating of the oil.

Atomizer: The heating component of the vape device.

Tank: A little chamber used to house the vape oil with most been a reusable element.

Mouthpiece: Part of the vape pen from which vapor is inhaled.

General Vape Method:

1) Check the battery level of the device and charge as required

2) Remove the holding tank from the device

3) Add the vape liquid to the tank as per the dosing instructions Reassemble the holding tank to the device

4) Power up the device via the on switch

5) Once the device is enabled and ready to use inhale and exhale

The dosage for CBD vape use is determined based on weight, tolerance and consumer symptoms which are to be treated. Most holding tanks will hold between 1 and 1.5ml of vape liquid therefore the dose will be specified on this basis. It is advised as with other CBD products to start with a low dose and concentration and assess tolerance/effects. The concentration of CBD is calculated in milligrams, and the strength specified for most CBD vape products tends to be:

➱ Low concentration:             200 mg or lower

➱ Medium concentration:       200 to 500 mg

➱ High concentration:            500 mg or higher

This will not be the individual dosage per 1 to 1.5ml and this will be dependent on the product size. For example if a 30ml bottle of CBD Vape liquid has a concentration of 350mg a 1ml dose will contain 11.6mg of CBD. It is important to follow product guidelines as noted on labeling.

It is imperative to keep in mind that regular CBD oil and oil made for vaping are completely different products. They are not interchangeable and therefore CBD oil should be taken sublingually and only CBD products marketed for vaping can be added to vape device tanks.
